Job Overview
As the Accounts Payable Manager you will manage and coordinates activities required to ensure an accurate and timely payments to vendors ensuring all negotiated terms are met. Hires, trains and motivates accounts payable staff members while overseeing routine department activities. Must be able to build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
Primary Duties:

Plan, schedule, and direct work of the Accounts Payable Department.

Manage and file all sales and use tax filings.

Create annual payable accruals for yearend audit.

Manage the Accounts Payable Unbilled Report.

Ensure invoices are processed timely to allow for early payment discounts.

Create cash forecast and manage days payable outstanding.

Negotiate with vendors and ensure the purchase card program is being fully utilized.

Oversee AP Aging reports and monitor vendors with credit balances.

Coach, training and develop the AP team.
Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Previous management experience is required. Ten (10) key experience is required.
