This position will typically be scheduled Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for applying the sound principles of accounting to maintain a consistent work flow in the daily activities of the Business Office. You will assist in performing the necessary accounting functions for the Corporation including accounts payable, and ensure and verify that all needed equipment and supplies are available within each department around campus. You will be responsible for researching product quality and market price, negotiating with suppliers to secure the lowest possible prices while maintaining quality standards. You will purchase the supplies and equipment within the budgeted allocations and informs Administration of any variances.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- At least three years of previous successful accounts payable/purchasing experience.
- Extensive knowledge of utilizing a computer / Microsoft Office.
- Effective organizational and delegation skills.
- Ability to complete required in-service training requirements.
- Must be able to respect the privacy and confidentiality of any information accessed necessary to perform job requirements.
- Accurate basic mathematical knowledge and record keeping abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
