ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

CONTRACT ONSITE: 6 MONTHS

WAGE: $19.00/HOUR

 POSITION SUMMARY

Accounts payable process involves creating payment and entering that into the accounting system.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES 

• Process payments
• Document activity
• Communicate with operations team to obtain the documentation needed to support any non-contract services. 
• Provide weekly report on open Accounts payables and any issues 
• Ability to develop an understanding of the functions within the accounting system, the company structure (divisions, departments and plant locations)and the various general ledger accounts. 
• Other duties as assigned 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) 
• 1-2 years of: o related office experience 
• Accounting/bookkeeping preferred 
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook 
• Customer service skills, phone and email
