Job Overview
As the Addictions Recovery Program Manager you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive substance abuse treatment and prevention program. This position involves starting the program from the ground up, including setting strategic objectives, building a qualified team, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering community partnerships. The Program Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations, staff management, and program evaluation, with the goal of delivering high-quality, evidence-based services to individuals struggling with substance use disorders.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of service delivery including individual and group counseling, addiction education, crisis intervention, and rehabilitation services.
- Orients and monitors therapists and remediates issues of service delivery in accordance with state, federal, and agency guidelines.
- Provide consultation and guidance to other Hillcrest staff related to working with clients who struggle with substance use .
- Create a robust referral system to ensure clients can access complementary services such as housing, employment support, and mental health care.
- Ensure that the program maintains ongoing compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation requirements through internal audits.
- Assess where the SUD service line can partner with existing Hillcrest programming and initiate those partnerships.
- Demonstrates the ability to adhere to guidelines and supervise other staff with ethical dilemmas as outlined by the agency or professional code of ethics, HIPAA, client rights, and Iowa Code expectations.
- Stay current with certifications and best practices related to evidence-based substance use treatment.
- Complies with Hillcrest policies and procedures.
- Any other duties assigned.
What You Need
- Certification as a CADC or ICADC.
- Bachelor’s degree in human services related field preferred.
- Minimum of two years post certification of experience. Experience should include development of program policies and procedures, direct client care, and supervision.
