Job Overview

The University of Dubuque is a growing faith-based University that is seeking an Adjunct Instructor in Old Testament to co-tech Spring 2025 OT Exegesis (English) course offered in Madison, WI through our Madison Learning Community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • In cooperation with your co-teacher:
  • Provide a course syllabus that accomplishes established course learning outcomes
  • Lead Tuesday evening (6-7:40pm) in-person class sessions
  • Attend class retreat first Saturday morning of the semester
  • Provide weekly recorded lectures
  • Manage Course Moodle page
  • Grade and provide timely feedback on student work

Position Skills and Abilities:

  • Teaching
  • Classroom facilitation
  • Ecumenical generosity and fluency

Qualifications:

  • Expertise and education in Old Testament (Masters required, PhD or Dmin preferred)
  • Commitment to the UD Mission
