Human Resources Assistant (Entry/Experienced Level Professional)

MISSION: As part of the daily management, assist the team in all administrative tasks : Personnel, purchasing, IT, travel, organization of meetings.

KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
Assistantship to the team & support Human Resources by:

  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews.
  • Schedule New hire drug tests & physicals.
  • Conduct background & reference checks.
  • Organize and perform new employee orientation.
  • Maintaining records and documentation for staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations, etc.
  • Perform weekly payroll tasks.
  • Become the Kronos (payroll) expert and provide training when needed.
  • Process purchase orders and data for payment.
  • Prepares reports, and data entry for all departments as requested.
  • Provides information by answering questions and requests that come through the front desk.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings for managers and supervisors.
  • Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls.
  • Maintain office supplies.
  • Collect and distribute mail.
  • Support the EMS, QMS & H&S systems.
  • Perform other duties and assignments as advised by management.

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent is required.  Associates Degree is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of administrative experience is required.
  • Knowledge of standard office equipment.
  • Excellent written, communication and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, hands on, resourceful, people oriented, flexible, professional, teammate, positive attitude and can prioritize for a fast-paced facility.
  • Proficient in MS office software, (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
