The role as Sales Support Specialist offers a variety of ways for you to contribute to the team where you can demonstrate your skills in communication and coordination. Key components of this role are managing orders and working with various departments to ensure customers receive accurate and on-time goods and services.
What You’ll Do:
You’ll make an impact by performing the following essential duties:
- Support sales team through product availability analysis and order issue resolution
- Create and distribute miscellaneous business reports to support the sales team
- Provide support to internal team by gathering sales information related to accounting and finance, marketing, logistics, etc.
- Process orders and dispatching through Oracle business system; ensure accuracy and completeness of sales orders
- Create and maintain database of customer details
- Respond to phone, email, fax and website inquiries
- Complete invoicing process to include ship confirming order, producing invoices, and supplying invoice copies to customer via mail and/or email
- All other duties as assigned
What education and skills you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree, equivalent work experience, or combination of education and work experience – required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products – required
- Sales/service of Agricultural products experience – an advantage, not a requirement
- Experience with Oracle – an advantage, not a requirement
- Experience with Salesforce – an advantage, not a requirement
- Results-orientated with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
