Location: Dubuque Regional Humane Society (DRHS)
Position Type: Part-Time

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, cleaning enclosures, and ensuring their comfort with fresh blankets and toys.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for animals, visitors, and staff.
  • Assist with essential janitorial duties like laundry, dishes, and facility cleaning.
  • Observe animal behavior and report any concerns to the Director of Operations.
  • Interact with customers, volunteers, and visitors to share the DRHS mission and policies.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and handle physically demanding tasks.
