Job Overview
The Applications Administrator supports Hirschbach's IT Department by developing and administrating the enterprise level business intelligence systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support and develop complex Power Automate (Workflow) projects, resolve issues and respond to business requests.
- Daily, work directly with Hirschbach Operational Departments and our business divisions to build their internal online information portals within our established intranet framework.
- Provide design, consulting, and operational aspects of IT service management and support for SharePoint Online and other Microsoft Office 365 cloud services.
- Build, improve, and test IT solutions including business division applications, corporate infrastructure IT services, and company intranet pages as they integrate with SharePoint Online or MS Power Platform.
- Support IT process and solution creation and improvement, including ensuring and monitoring compliance to these processes.
- Work closely with other IT groups to ensure successful project delivery of cross-operational projects.
- Provide technical guidance to other I.T. personnel as needed for the maintenance of the business intelligence servers and applications.
- Assist with issue escalations, help desk tickets, and problem resolution.
- As needed, develop and detail IT information security policies and procedures.
- Participates in Helpdesk duties, working to resolve problems reported to the IT department, in the most timely and efficient manner.
Talent Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Database Administration or another related discipline. One to two years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM Systemi DB2 Databases, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft SharePoint, and Tableau BI Server & Desktop Applications.
- Ability to plan, organize, and document complex system design activities and to configure systems to be consistent with organizational policies/procedures.
- Display and demonstration of an "All In to Win" attitude and performance including self motivation and a strong desire to learn within an unpredictable and demanding environment.
- Displays and demonstrates strong multi-tasking, time management, customer service, and organizational skills.
