How can you make an impact?

 

McGraw Hill, the leading provider of digital and print educational materials, is looking for a Associate Content Developer for our Higher Education division focused on Science, Engineering and Math content. 

 

The Associate Content Developer both supports the higher education content development team and owns their own projects. This is demonstrated by aggregating product data, compiling customer content reports, and supporting content development efforts through internal or external resources to ensure prompt and accurate content delivery in an Evergreen model.


What you will be doing:

  • Monitor flow of information among the Product Team, Management, Marketing, Sales, Production, Content Licensing, and other functional areas
  • Support development of content by working within our digital authoring systems, correcting content errors when necessary, managing reviewer communication, and assisting internal and freelance Content Developers with Evergreen content updates.
  • Perform non-project-related support duties for content development team.
  • Navigate our systems to prepare reports and update spreadsheets in order to provide the team with clean data and keep files well-maintained.
  • Coordinate content reviews to inform market-driven content updates.
  • Assist Content Developers as needed for content preparation, image/photo research, etc.
  • Manage and own specific projects from inception to release.

  • Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Meticulous about details.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Publishing or higher education industry experience a plus.

The pay range for this position is between $48-54,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered
