Job Overview

We currently have a full-time Treasury Management Specialist position open for immediate placement. This position is responsible for support in the Bank Operations Department. Hours will be 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; Monday through Friday (60-minute lunch).

This position is responsible for business client setup and support of treasury management services including Digital Banking, Wires, ACH, Remote Deposit, and Positive Pay.  Duties also include a variety of account maintenance, transaction research, and providing support to clients and staff.

Principal Responsibilities & Duties

Treasury Management
  • Performs in-person and over-the-phone demos of treasury management services, while assessing client needs and answering product questions.
  • Completes onboarding and setup of tailored treasury management services for new and existing business clients.  This includes executing contracts, creating digital banking profiles, granting access rights, setting transaction limits and fee structures.
  • Provides ongoing training and support of treasury management services.
  • Conducts periodic client risk assessments, audits, and contract updates for treasury management services.
  • Maintains contracts and documentation for compliance, audits, and regulatory exams.
Operations
  • Performs daily routine activities involving account maintenance, GL balancing, and transaction returns on the bank core processing system.
  • Responsible for overdraft reporting, NSF decisioning, and assessing fees.
  • Processes outgoing client-originated ACH transactions including review of transmittals letters and file totals while communicating with customers.  These transactions are completed with dual control.
  • Processes transaction returns and adjustments.
  • Monitors business remote deposits.  Provides ongoing training and support to remote deposit clients.
  • Processes incoming and outgoing domestic and international wire transfer requests.  Transactions are completed with dual control while ensuring compliance with limits and regulatory agencies.
  • Supports clients with Digital Banking and mobile wallets including initial set-up.
  • Maintains screening of customer accounts and transactions for OFAC & FinCen compliance.
  • Monitors transactions for suspicious activity, fraud, and assist with dispute resolutions.
  • Responsible for scanning and archiving completed account maintenance forms.
  • Completes required maintenance for deceased customers including verification of deposits, asset verifications, Social Security Administration verifications, and processing of returns.
  • Performs a variety of customer service functions including the ordering of ATM/Debit cards and checks, statement printing, account research, processing stop payments, distributing reports, and document filing.  Support is provided via phone inquiries, e-mail, secure messages, and occasionally in-person.
  • Other duties as assigned.
We’re looking for individuals who possess the following skills:
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills to provide support to all bank departments and customers.
  • Applies strong analytical abilities in researching and resolving account and transaction issues.
  • Utilizes computer technology and various applications to perform various department tasks.
  • Two years of prior experience in a financial institution preferred.
