BARTENDER

BASIC FUNCTION

Provide alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

         Reports to:         Food & Beverage Supervisor

         Supervises:       N/A

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare drinks for customers.
• Prepare drink orders for servers.
• Balance sales to POS report at end of shift.
• Observe customers for alcohol consumption.
• Set up bar area.
• Clean bar area.
• Cut fruits for drinks.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

• No formal education required.
• Prefer bartending experience.

STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE

• Able to mix and create alcoholic drinks.
• Able to communicate with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to determine when to “cut-off” patrons who consume too much alcohol.

• Standing for long periods of time

General office equipment including, but not limited to:

• POS
• Blender
