Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa, located in the beautiful Galena Territory, is currently looking for Bell Staff for full-time / part-time, year-round positions to assist Inn guests, transporting luggage and monitoring areas surrounding the resort. BELL STAFF

PURPOSE AND PERFORMANCE GOALS

Responds in a professional and courteous manner to arriving, departing and in-house guests by providing accurate and timely information and services.  Responds to in-person inquiries regarding reservations, Resort information and guest concerns.  Transports guests safely and courteously in the company van, and in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

• Escorts incoming Resort guests to rooms or homes, assists with hand luggage, and offers information pertaining to available services and facilities of Resort, points of interest, and entertainment attractions, etc.
• Explains features of room or home such as operation of heating/cooling system, radio, television, and night lock, and how to place telephone calls.
• Locates guests in lobby, dining room, or other parts of Resort.
• Delivers messages, runs errands and assists with Room Service when needed.
• Provides on property guest shuttles as well as transportation “off” property.
• Delivers packages & suitcases.
• Tidies lobby and front entrance.
• Prepares maps of rental homes used during the check-in process.
• Keeps wood supplied for lobby and bar wood burning fireplaces.
• Polishing bell carts, door brass and clean glass on doors/windows as needed
• Picks up guest laundry from rooms and deliver items back to rooms after dry cleaning service delivery.
• Monitors brochure supplies as well as supplies for guest services stored in Bell Station
• Fuels and maintains cleanliness of vehicles used by the Front Desk – reporting vehicle problems promptly.
• Provides vehicle jump start services to guests when needed.
• Prepares and monitors water supply in Lobby.
• Monitors parking lot at Resort, and decks surrounding the Resort to ensure that they are free of debris.
• Co-ordinates transportation requests.
• Assists with incoming calls as needed.
• Informs Front Desk of whereabouts at all times.
