RCL Benziger is looking for their next Bilingual Editor! This editorial role leads development of Spanish, English, and/or bilingual projects and content products. You will work side by side with our product development team to edit and adapt our RCL Benziger products and resources. This will be a remote position, unless living within the surrounding Dubuque, Iowa Area.

What Will You Do?

  • You will work read, write, culturally adapt, and review print and digital resources
  • You will coordinate and plan content with freelancers, editors, and designers
  • You will work to ensure consistency with RCLB’s style, and meet the requirements of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, and other catechetical and educational principles.
  • You will support the publishers in the proposal, planning, and development of new products and resources, especially those for the Hispanic Catholic community

Who Do We Need?

  • Someone with prior experience working with Catholic educational communities
  • Bachelor’s degree in theology, religious studies, education, or related discipline required, or three to five years’ related experience in Catholic catechetical environments and/or editorial experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Fluency in Spanish is required
  • Occasional travel is required
  • Someone who is able to work well independently, as well as in a team environment
