Ingredient Mixing Operator
Type: Full-Time (with potential OT)
Location: Orangeville IL
Wage: $18+/hr

Position Summary
A local employer is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Blending Operator to join their production team. This role is responsible for accurately blending ingredients according to production formulas, operating blending and processing equipment, and ensuring all quality and safety standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Accurately measure, weigh, and blend ingredients according to batch formulas and production schedules
  • Operate blending, mixing, and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Load raw materials into blending equipment and monitor production processes
  • Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company specifications
  • Complete production paperwork, batch records, and inventory documentation accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with GMP and food safety standards
  • Follow all OSHA, safety, and company policies and procedures
  • Assist with equipment setup, cleaning, sanitation, and basic troubleshooting
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, quality personnel, and production team members
  • Support other production and warehouse functions as needed
Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing, blending, machine operation, or production experience preferred
  • Ability to follow written formulas, instructions, and safety procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Forklift experience is a plus
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Overtime may be required based on production demands
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing/production environment with exposure to powders, ingredients, and machinery
