Job Overview

This program includes a comprehensive core track that teaches job readiness and teamwork skills, OSHA construction safety principles, Silica Safety and CPR/First Aid. Through classroom instruction and hands-on lab experience, students will learn basic construction concepts and technical skills, including rough framing, concrete, insulation, building codes, permits, and finish carpentry.

Once the core track is complete, students will have the opportunity to earn money while they learn during the lab portion of the program, which takes place at a job site for approximately 46 hours. Upon completing this program, individuals will be prepared for entry-level work in building construction or to pursue additional education or training in construction trades.
