Job Overview
As the Business Lending Processor you will provide exceptional quality service to business members regarding loan related products and services. Business members look to you to answer loan related questions, so you must be able to think on your feet. You will use your excellent organizational skills to ensure the accuracy and completion of commercial loans approved by the Business Lending Officers. You’ll be:
- Create, build, and maintain commercial loan documents, verifying accuracy, for members’ loan closings.
- Order and prepare supporting documentation needed for loan file as necessary (ex. mortgage appraisals, title searches, surveys, UCC searches, pest inspections, copy of insurance policies, verifications, business searches, etc)
- Filing and completing of various mail items (ex. titles, UCC's, mortgages, assignment of life insurance, etc.)
- Maintain ownership of assigned loans across various processing states, including but not limited to disbursements, fee collection and wires.
- Review all loan files for correct documentation according to internal loan policies and NCUA guidelines, ie: UCC filings, titles noting our security interest, assignment forms acknowledged by insurance companies, current financial statements, memos, valid corporate resolution, etc.
- Prepare various letters and forms to business members, ie: commitment letters, adverse action letters, guaranty letters, etc.
You’ll need:
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to represent the financial institution in a positive way and contribute to the Business Lending department working as a cohesive team.
- Experience processing customer/member information with computer software and programs.
- A high school diploma or equivalent. (ie GED.) Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
