You’ll be:

  • Supervising the business lending processing team and provide regular coaching to enable successfully carry out of goals and objectives of the department.
  • Assisting in developing, implementing and tracking of individual goals for the business loan processing team.
  • Responsible for staff performance reviews.
  • Leading weekly staff meetings with the processing team.
  • Providing consistent communication with supervisor on items pertaining to system issues, training issues and current trends on loans errors.
  • Maintaining a thorough knowledge of business lending and serves as a resource for the Business Lending Processors and Business Services Associate teams.
  • Collaboratively working together with other team leads within the business lending department.
  • Evaluating existing processes and recommend system enhancements and process improvement opportunities.
  • Monitoring the day to day operations of loan processing team and delegate workload accordingly.
  • Providing support during system enhancements by assisting with implementation, delivery to staff, and ongoing system support.
  • Recognizing areas of risk as related to loan documentation, pending collateral, and title searches.
  • Managing the process of monitoring and tracking all loan documentation for accuracy and security perfection.
  • Maintaining ongoing evaluation of credit files, updating information when necessary
  • Ordering supporting documentation needed for loan file, ie: mortgage appraisals, title search, survey, UCC search, credit reports, pest inspections, copy of insurance policy, verifications, etc.
  • Reviewing loan files for correct documentation and security perfection according to NCUA guidelines, ie: UCC filings, titles noting our security interest, assignment forms acknowledged by insurance companies, current financial statements, memos, valid corporate resolution, etc.
  • Preparing various letters and forms to business members, ie: commitment letters, adverse action letters, guaranty letters, etc.
  • Assisting in determining cross training schedule and provide back up during absences of other staff members.

 

You’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • Effective leadership skills
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is essential
  • A minimum of 2-years’ experience in a financial institution processing position is preferred
