This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
Your Responsibilities
As a Business Unit Leader for Dubuque Works located in Dubuque, IA, you will:
- Lead the second shift cross functional operations team within Skid Steer Operations to meet objectives on safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency.
- Maintain an engaging and inclusive employee environment regarding communications, feedback and overall culture
- Assess, implement, and manage appropriate flexibility options for yourself and your direct team, which could include a compressed work schedule
- Serve as primary liaison between other production shifts and factory support functions

What Skills You Need
- Demonstrated coaching, mentoring, and team development
- Demonstrated expertise with operations and manufacturing systems. Including production supervision, assembly, quality, material flow, or fabrication process engineering.
- Experience developing, executing, and managing production staffing and incentive pay plans.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Prioritize skills and experiences from most important to least.
- Experience with a multi-shift operation
- Salaried supervision experience
- Experience with technology solutions in a manufacturing application
- Experience working with a Union production team
- Experience with Agile
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Technology discipline, or equivalent experience
