At Stonehill Communities, you build relationships with our residents while assisting residents with activities of daily living. This position will be scheduled 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and requires every other weekend and every other holiday.  Holiday pay is at a rate of double time employee's base pay rate.

As a Caregiver, the successful candidate is not required to be certified in the State of Iowa. You will interact with residents, medication managers, nursing staff and family members in this position.

As a Caregiver, you will be cross trained in laundry, housekeeping, dining, and nursing services to provide support services and assist residents with daily living activities with the goal of enhancing each resident's quality of life. Caregivers do not give medications or medication reminders.

Minimum requirements:

  • Provides assistance to residents with activities of daily living (within scope of practice/competencies).
  • Willingness to obtain a C.N.A. certification or be enrolled in a CNA certification program within 6 months recommended but not required
  • Must complete mandatory yearly in-service training.
