Our hard-working team is in need of a Class A CDL Transport Driver in Cedar Rapids. The weekly schedule is based on Monday through Friday. It is possible a Saturday would be needed during a holiday schedule. Guaranteed at least 8 hours per day or a 40hr work week!

Successful candidates will work independently and need to be a quick learner.  Responsibilities include a pre-trip inspection of truck/trailer combination. Deliveries may include boxes, cases or 80-gallon carts. All products delivered by two-wheeler or cart.  Dock or side hoist deliveries will depend on the stop/route. All paperwork must be completed and returned at the end of the route along with all monies collected that day.

In return, we offer medical, vision, dental, paid time off and company provided uniforms.

This position is paid based off commission of the sale and base pay. Training pay will be $24.20/hour. After successful training and the ability to complete a route on your own, you will switch to commission and base. Each new employee will endure a 90-day probationary period. 

 

Requirements:

  • Applicants must possess a Class A CDL license with air brake and manual transmission endorsements.
  • Must have high school diploma/GED and clean driving record.
  • Experience with customer service preferred.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time and lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Applicants must be able to read and write English.
