Mazzuchelli Catholic Middle School in Dubuque, Iowa, is seeking a Classroom Associate to join our team! This full-time, 9-month position (school year only) will begin in the 2026-2027 school year.

Classroom Associates play a vital role in supporting teachers and students. They help create a positive, nurturing, and structured learning environment while reinforcing classroom instruction. The qualified candidate will possess strong communication skills and an emphasis on confidentiality. The preferred candidate will be authorized to substitute teach in Iowa, or have the ability to obtain their substitute authorization.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the teacher in delivering instruction and supporting student learning
• Providing small-group and one-on-one support to reinforce lessons
• Maintaining a calm, encouraging, and firm approach to classroom management
• Supporting students with re-teaching and reinforcing activities guided by the teacher
• Assisting with morning supervision, lunchroom duty, and bus duty (some duties may extend beyond the school day)
• Upholding strong communication skills and confidentiality in all interactions
