MedOne is seeking a proactive professional to manage clinical formulary operations, maintain drug updates and documentation, support client communications, and collaborate across teams to ensure accurate, efficient formulary processes.

What You Will Do at MedOne:
Clinical Formulary Operations
- Support the daily operations of MedOne Clinical Services and Pharmacy Services.
- Independently manage tasks, issues, and inquiries related to MedOne Clinical Formularies.
- Administer and maintain formulary policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Ensure accuracy and accessibility of all public-facing formulary materials.
Formulary Maintenance & Updates
- Participate in weekly formulary maintenance, including drug updates and communications.
- Enter and process formulary change requests.
- Prepare and distribute formulary update summaries and future change files for client posting.
- Monitor and update automated formulary rules and override settings.
Client & Team Support
- Triage and respond to formulary-related inquiries; escalate complex issues to pharmacists or leadership.
- Gather materials for client meetings to provide formulary insights and support.
- Evaluate formulary tier status and provide cost analysis to inform tier designation decisions.
- Generate requested reports and contribute to system efficiency initiatives.
Training & Collaboration
- Train and mentor Clinical Formulary Support staff.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment and across departments.
What you will bring to MedOne:
- This position must have Pharmacy Technician National Certification (within 1 year of hire)
- Must have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills
- Strong customer service and teamwork skills
- Must be detail oriented, able to work independently, meets deadlines, establish priorities, and be flexible
- Ability to work cooperatively with MedOne Pharmacy Services and Pharmacy Benefits staff
Location: We have offices in either Dubuque, IA, or Kansas City, MO, or the position can be remote within the United States.
Employment Type: Full-Time, Hourly/Non-Exempt
