CNC Operators

Job Overview

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and machining centers 
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications 
• Load raw materials and monitor machine operations 
• Adjust machine settings and tooling for precision machining 
• Use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges 
• Perform quality inspections to verify dimensions and tolerances 
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor maintenance 
• Maintain production records and follow safety procedures 
• Work with engineers and production teams to improve efficiency 

• High school diploma or GED 
• CNC machining certification or technical training preferred 
• Experience operating CNC equipment 
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and use precision measuring tools 
• Knowledge of G-code and CNC programming 
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills 
• Ability to lift materials and stand for long periods 

• Experience with industrial manufacturing or mining equipment 
• Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, or Mazak controls 
• Welding or fabrication experience is a plus
