Job Overview
Communication Specialist
Cottingham & Butler is currently looking for a Communications Specialist to assist our Benefit Managers and their clients in the employee benefit communications that are offered in a consistent and efficient manner.
Essential Functions:
- Strategize, draft, update, and review ongoing and enrollment communications for clients to share with their employees. These communications include benefit guides, digital materials (emails, websites, banners, graphics, and videos), and print materials (benefit summaries, postcards, flyers, letters, wallet cards, and payroll stuffers).
- Utilize the resources of existing vendors and carriers to design communication materials and templates.
- Support the Benefit Executives/Benefit Managers in responding to inquiries, concerns, and requests regarding communications.
- Adhere to processes for organizing and storing employee communications.
The ideal candidate will have prior office experience and strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design skills. Must possess excellent organizational and planning abilities, along with a wide degree of creativity.
