- Payroll Processing: Compiles, inputs, and uploads all payroll entries for weekly/bi-weekly payroll into third party payroll processing systems, and special payroll processing when warranted.
- Partner in Research and Analysis: A commitment to staying updated with market trends and technology to align data driven compensation strategies.
- System Tools: Support the development of user processes to ensure the accuracy, trackability and timeliness of compensation changes, employee absences, and attendance points to ensure compliance.
- Audit and Compliance: Maintain regular audits of employee personnel files and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) to ensure legal compliance and consistency in all fields related to employment law.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to stakeholders and peers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing to ensure day-to-day application of compensation programs, policies, and procedures.
- Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by upholding safety protocols and promoting a safety-first culture among all employees.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully the Compensation Administrator must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill and ability required.
Education/Experience:
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain compensation-related topics to employees, managers, and stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling payroll data and compensation adjustments, is important.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- An analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to interpret data, identify discrepancies, and recommend practical solutions.
- Collaborative team player, able to build relationships and work effectively across HR, finance, and operations teams.
- Experience with payroll processing, compensation programs, and related regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems with the ability to navigate, audit, and update employee data effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential for data analysis, audits, and reporting.
- Commitment to promoting a positive workplace and safety-first culture.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources, business, finance, or a related field preferred.
