Construction Manager

Location: Dubuque and Surrounding Areas

Salary: $58,000 - $75,000 Per Year

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee small to medium-sized projects and assist with additional projects as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee small to medium-sized construction projects.
• Assist with assembling pre-construction estimates and budgets.
• Develop schedules and deadlines to keep development on schedule.
• Break complex projects into bid packages.
• Track the budget and update clients on changes.
• Coordinate and schedule all work necessary to complete the building project.
• Manage multiple projects in various stages of construction.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Prefer 2-3 years of construction management experience.
• Good writing and speaking skills are a must.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies, ability to read blueprints, and understand technical aspects of construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Construction Engineering is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft suite products and Microsoft Project Scheduling software.
• Excellent communication, organizational, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Sage Contractor 100, Plan-Swift, and Bluebeam is a plus.
