Construction Manager (Retail) Direct Hire

Job Overview

• Manage all phases of construction, including new builds, remodels, additions, and conversions.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and contractor performance to ensure successful completion.
• Standardize specifications for fixtures, remodels, and new builds.
• Solicit, evaluate, and select bids to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Facilities on maintenance planning, HVAC replacement, and utility upgrades.
• Conduct site visits, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with safety and company standards.
• Provide project updates and improvement recommendations to leadership.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, or related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience managing commercial or retail construction projects.
• Proficiency in CAD, Revit, Blue Beam, and project management software.
• Strong knowledge of design/build processes and mechanical systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel to job sites and work flexible hours.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform safe inspections at elevated heights 

• Expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
• Knowledge of safety codes, building standards, and construction best practices.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and collaboration skills.
