Consumer Lending Title Representative

Job Overview

The Consumer Lending Title Representative is responsible for follow-up on all missing title related items for consumer loans. The Consumer Lender Title Representative provides courteous, professional and knowledgeable service to increase member satisfaction and account usage.

You’ll be:

• Providing quality service to members, potential members and coworkers.
• Demonstrating teamwork and professionalism in all interactions with coworkers.
• Promoting a professional image of the credit union at all times.
• Researching pending collateral items prior to member follow-up to gather information and assist in answering member questions.
• Working with members on pending collateral items and ensure proper follow-up is documented and performed in a timely manner.
• Answering title related questions via phone, email, and face to face from members and lending staff.
• Ensuring all title information matches loan documentation.
• Partnering with the Consumer Lending Title team for process improvements, loan corrections and miscellaneous title issue.
• Providing Cure List to the Member Solutions team.
• Supporting Title Associates with tracking, monitoring and reporting of pending collateral.
• Effectively supporting departmental process improvement.
• Assisting in cross training employees on title procedures and technology.
• Proactively adhering to policies and procedures within area of responsibility.

You'll need:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Interpersonal skills to represent the financial institution in a positive and professional way.
• Proper phone etiquette and correspondence to members.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
