Compensation: Up to $115k / year base

As a trusted business partner to plant management, the Controller is responsible for providing timely and accurate financial information and performance data to analyze business operations. As the Controller you will guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures and conduct audits, providing information to external auditors. This is a direct hire opportunity, meaning the right fit candidate will go directly onto the hiring company’s payroll and receive a robust full benefits package.

What you get to do (in a snap-shot):

• Responsible for all plant financial reporting and accounting functions. Works through accounting and administrative staff in the processing of all plant accounting functions, payables, variance analysis, plant performance feedback, , efficiency reporting and other operational information related to plant performance. Ensures that all information reported is both timely and accurate and that proper accounting principles and practices are followed.
• Serves as a business partner with plant management. Prepare monthly forecasts for plant to include: sales, capital expenditures, cost reduction programs, inventory, and P&L statements. Prepare the strategic plan and budget.

• Maintain standard costs, including monthly updates and variance reconciliations. 
• Manages and compliance and internal controls to include: Coordinate with external auditors , apply Internal controls, and ensure segregation of duties are followed.

What we need from you:

Technical Experience: 5-10 years accounting experience required. Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred. Able to solve analytical accounting problems. Must have strong interpersonal skills. Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite and ERP systems required.

Industry Experience: Accounting experience in a manufacturing organization preferred.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
