Job Overview

As the Conversion Project Manager at Crescent Electric, you will manage the conversion projects amongst all our vendors. You will direct complex projects often involving business, operational, and IT deliverables. In this role, you will collaborate with Category Managers and Field Initiative Managers to define, plan, manage, and deliver vendor conversion projects.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Rigorously manages project scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed-upon time, cost, and quality parameters.

  • Define and track project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on a project plan.

  • Develops the project charter, integrated project plan, resource plan, contingency plan, and related project artifacts.

  • Continuously documents and communicates project issues, milestones, and updates to project stakeholders.

  • Manages and escalates project risks and issues when necessary; identifies solutions to remedy issues when possible.

  • Understands and champions the value proposition of the project.

  • Drive decision-making across multiple cross-functional leaders to ensure alignment.

  • Develop and nurture a cohesive team committed to working together and completing the project to the best of their ability.

  • Share project statuses with leadership and cross-functional partners to reduce roadblocks and ensure a smooth handoff to stakeholders upon completion.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Business, Technology, or related business field of study or equivalent experience.  

    • Minimum of 7 years of professional work experience with a minimum of 5 years of program/project management experience

    • Demonstrated successful management of large-scale projects

    • PMP certification is a plus

    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is a plus

    SKILLS:

    • Demonstrated competence in project management skills and related experience in relevant fields.

    • Organized, self-starter, with strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively and build strong relationships with business partners.

    • Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbal.

    • Ability to drive projects with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

    • Results-oriented and willing to shift plans to meet goals.  Works autonomously and takes the initiative to move the business forward.

    • A positive attitude and ability to manage change thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and brings structure and develops processes for ambiguous situations.
