Summary:

Application of customer cash receipts, collection of amounts owed, payment resolution with customers and general clerical and accounting duties.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Apply customer payments to accounts.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing inquiries and disputes.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the collection’s software.
• Identify areas for improvement in AR processes and contribute to process optimization initiatives.
• Set up new customers, including credit checks.
• Analyze credit limits for appropriateness.
• Maintain customer files.
• Support audit requests by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Travel as needed to attend credit meetings associated with various product lines. Analyze credit meeting information to adjust customer credit limits as necessary.
• Other duties assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
