Description:
Responsible to the Director of Rehabilitation Services and/or the designated Site Leader. Possess the skills necessary to provide direct patient care in accordance with department protocol. Assists with patient treatment related activities under the supervision of the therapist. Updates and maintains patient lists and schedules for patients. Cleans and maintains equipment and supplies, transports patients to and from the department. Understands the insurance authorization process for therapy services. The age of patients served ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics.
High School Diploma Required.
Must be BLS certified within 3 months of hire.
Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills in a Windows environment.
Three months health care related experience preferred.
Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafter.
