What Will You Do?

Under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager, the Inventory Cycle Count Specialist (ICCS) is responsible for performing cycle counting duties to verify and maintain materials counts at a high level of accuracy. The ICC Specialist must be proficient at root cause analysis, utilizing historical inventory transaction records, and product bill of materials. The position requires close collaboration with shipping and receiving departments and demands a high level of organization and attention to detail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform daily cycle counts per planned schedules
• Perform root cause analysis of discrepancies leading to corrective actions
• Maintain records and provide monthly report out of cycle count results
• Assist in yearly cycle count audit
• Identify and communicate process improvement opportunities related to inventory accuracy
• Responsible for completing physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations
• Utilize ERP system to enter and track accurate data
• Track and report non-conforming product
• Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner
• Must be able to travel between local facilities
• Assist the Purchasing department in maintaining minimum quantities of stock materials, while consistently meeting on-time material requirement demands
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Maintain good relationships with co-workers, by encouraging teamwork concept for maximum productivity and quality
• Ability to work independently in a timely and safe manner
• Consistently complete tasks within the time allowed
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:

• Associates degree preferred in Accounting or Supply Chain Management
• 3-5 years of cycle counting experience
• Material handling equipment experience required
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment helpful
• Must be able to consistently meet multiple deadlines
• Must be able to handle fast paced, high-pressure situations
• Microsoft Suite experience required

• Ability to comprehend simple instructions; both oral and written
• Ability to effectively communicate one-on-one and in group settings with other employees within the organization.
• Strong verbal and written organizational skills
• Ability to perform tasks with a high attention to detail
