JOB SUMMARY

As a Data Conversion Engineer, you will have personality to share and technical expertise to spare. We’re building and selling the most innovative operations management technology in the world, and we need someone to ensure data transformation and system integration for our clients is smooth and seamless. THE WORK YOU WILL DO

• You’ll work full-time for great pay in a collaborative environment.
• You’ll take ownership of design, development and testing of all data transformation, extraction, and migration activities to the Cartegraph system.
• You’ll provide project delivery that leaves our users raving about the great experiences they have working with Cartegraph.
• Reviews technical publications, articles, and abstracts to stay abreast of technical developments in industry and works toward continuous quality improvement.
• Attends meetings as scheduled.
• Performs miscellaneous related duties as requested by management.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures

Requirements

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• You have a 4-yr. degree in an applicable field OR a 2-yr. degree with at least two years of relevant experience with data transformation.
• You know the ins-and-outs of T-SQL, MS SQL Server Management Studio, database structure and design methodology, data import techniques, and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience creating extract-transform-load capabilities using MS SQL Server, FME, python, or related technologies.
• You understand how to effectively discover and capture customer requirements as it relates to data conversion and other complex configurations.
• You’re familiar with data management and interoperability concepts and standards to help customers fully realize the value of their enterprise data.
• You’re an effective verbal communicator with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and simply.
• You’re an effective written communicator with the ability to build system design documentation.
• You’re a good listener and loyal advocate of customer success.
• You’re organized, you manage your time well, and you stand behind your work.

TRAVEL

Ability and willingness to travel 10%.
