As the Database Administrator, you would be responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the organization’s databases. They ensure data integrity, security, and optimal performance of database systems to support the organization’s data needs.

You Will:

  • Be responsible for Database Management, including, Install, configure, and maintain databases in SQL Management Studio.
  • Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including backups, restores, and data optimization.
  • Implement and enforce database security measures to protect sensitive data. Monitor database access and user privileges.
  • Monitor database performance and identify bottlenecks. Optimize SQL queries and database configurations for improved efficiency. Implement indexing and caching strategies.
  • Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans. Test and execute data recovery procedures in case of failures.
  • Enforce data quality standards and validation rules.
  • Scale database systems as needed to accommodate growth.
  • Investigate and resolve database-related issues and incidents.
  • Expertise in ETL Tools including Talend and Microsoft Data Factory
  • Key member of Root Cause Analysis teams
  • Collaborate closely with Data Architecture and Systems Administration teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts or tools for routine tasks
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
  • Proficiency with Database Queries, Database Monitoring, and Database Security
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database design principles
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
