This position is eligible for a partial telework work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities

As a Dealer Marketing Assistance Center (DMAC) Specialist you will be part of the John Deere Dealer Marketing Assistance Center that provides technical product information & sales support for our complete line of Construction, Forestry and Compact Construction Equipment in Dubuque, IA. You will answer dealer & internal company inquiries related to current & non-current product configurations, field kits, specifications, attachments, and customer applications. Within this role you will:

Provide clear, accurate and timely responses to dealer inquiries within the Case and Contact Management System (CCMS) case authoring system.
Interact with engineering, marketing, product support, order fulfillment and multiple other C&F product teams.
Stay informed on current, non-current and future product offerings to maintain the DMAC knowledge base.
Serve as a subject matter expert within DMAC for a specific product line (excavator knowledge preferred).
Provide recommendations for the sizing & compatibility of attachments across multiple C&F product lines.

What Skills You Need

Practical knowledge of customer applications for Construction, Forestry and Compact Construction Equipment.
Technical knowledge of machine systems such as structures, hydraulics, electrical, software and powertrain.
Ability to communicate effectively in both a written & oral manner including strong conflict resolution skills.
Ability to follow-up on tasks and complete projects in a timely manner using all tools and resources available.
Problem solver who can serve as the voice of the dealer/customer for continuous product and process improvements.

What Makes You Stand Out

Experience with internal tools & resources such as CCMS, Knowledge Management System (KMS) for solution authoring, Build & Price, Technical Publications, REuse CONnection (RECON), Code Sheets, etc.
Marketing or Sales experience with John Deere Construction, Forestry and Compact Construction equipment and/or attachments.
Product Engineering, Dealer Technical Assistance Center (DTAC), Training Center or other Product Support experience (excavator knowledge preferred).

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Technical field or equivalent discipline.
