Diesel Machine Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

• Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and related machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work.
• Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Operate diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in diesel mechanics / auto mechanics or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in diesel maintenance and repair.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine components and systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
