Diesel Mechanic
Location: Dyersville, IA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are currently seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic for a local company in Dyersville, IA. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with diesel engines, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of fleet vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular maintenance on diesel engines, including inspections, oil changes, and repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and repair or replace parts as necessary.
• Perform inspections and troubleshoot engine systems and related components.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Work closely with the team to ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest standards.

Requirements:

• Diesel Mechanic certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with diesel engines and heavy machinery.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
