We’re looking for a Director of ALEKS Sales Programs to join our team and lead the team of Specialists in the East Region.

How can you make an impact? 

The Director, ALEKS Sales Programs is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing sales strategies to meet or exceed the company's sales revenue targets for the ALEKS platform. In this role you will be executing a national strategy overseeing a team of 9 ALEKS Sales Specialists in the East Region to drive annual double digit percentile growth of our total $81M portfolio, and the dedicated $38.6M direct revenue repressibilities tied to the assigned specialists. You will lead and motivate a team of sales leaders, monitor their performance, and develop strategies to maximize their potential.

This position requires up to 40 percent travel on campus to meet with team members and university representatives. Travel will be on campus across the continuous United States and a valid driver's license is required.

What you will be doing:

  • Execute customer-centric sales strategy to exceed national sales goal for the ALEKS portfolio.
  • Drive a national sales performance and sales strategy culture through ongoing training focusing on improvement of solution selling, digital platform mastery and regional sales strategy through a data driven performance management process.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent, with a history of driving YoY sustainable revenue growth in their previous span(s) of control.
  • Actively seek to discover and meet the needs of internal and external customers by building relationships and delivering innovative solutions. This includes partnership with key external customers, internal Sales RVPs, Sales District managers, Learning Specialists, along with the ALEKS Marketing and Product Partners.
  • Partner with Marketing and Product to execute strategies, drive sales and provide market feedback as well as provide input on product and sales training initiatives.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a valid driver's license required.
  • Higher Ed industry sales experience preferred.
  • 4+ years of related experience, which could include working with customers in educational publishing, educational software publishing, and/or providing training in corporate or educational settings.
  • Proven sales track record of driving YoY sustainable digital revenue growth.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing national sales strategies aimed to set revenue growth goals, monitor progress, and drive digital revenue growth. 
  • History of executing sales strategies amongst direct spans of control and influencing behaviors amongst entire sales organization to drive revenue expectations.
  • Previous success in building/managing a team; strong training/development skills.
  • Proven results in market research driven knowledge creating industry leading product development.
  • Desire to extensively travel territory, developing sales team and key customers relationships.

The pay range for this position is between $108,000 - 160,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
