Position Summary:
The Director of Online Learning is responsible for building and sustaining a vibrant online program that builds on the mission and strategic plan of the University of Dubuque. This role oversees the recruitment, admissions, advising, and student success areas for Online students through strategic and innovative programs and efforts. This role is responsible for the department's overall recruitment, enrollment, and retention processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee online programs, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with institutional goals
- Utilize analytics to prepare enrollment reports, create projections, assist with course scheduling, and make informed decisions
- Streamline recruitment, admissions, registration, and advising processes for efficiency
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure consistency across all programs
- Regularly report enrollment updates to the AVP
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of the University's Mission
Position Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused demeanor
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with systems such as Jenzabar, Canvas, and other CRM tools
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution is required
