DIRECTOR OF PROGRAM SERVICES
SALARY: DIRECT HIRE, $48K-$52K/YEAR
LOCATION: ONSITE DUBUQUE IA
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Point person to lead the implementation and execution of the B2W Program which includes the following program responsibilities:
- Drive recruitment and complete the enrollment of participants
- Coordinate training schedule, workshop logistics and secure mentors and facilitators to execute varied program elements
- Develop and execute an effective orientation and training process for mentors
- Follow-up with participants to verify active participation and attendance and gather participant feedback on training and job placements
- Support participants’ progress in the career path they choose to follow
- Acquire knowledge of city, county and state resources available to assist program participants as needed
- Effectively communicate with program participants, program partners, funders and leadership throughout any applicable grant funding cycles
- Collaborate with Voucher Center staff and program partners to execute program making strategies, including marketing and promotions
- Track and report program outcomes to leadership and sponsors biennially
- Monitor participants’ progress and success upon completion of internship and job employment
- Document the program efforts, successes, challenges, and points to consider for use in promoting program start-ups in new/other locations
- If necessary, provide case management to program participants as they gain employment
- Adapt program enrollment, curriculum and other processes as needed to meet participant and employer expectations
- Assist in building of a systemic infrastructure that will support the sustainability of the programRepresent company in public, with civic groups, church parishes and in the community
- Collaborate with volunteers to meet ongoing needs of neighbors requesting support through our Voucher Center and food pantry
- Serve as case manager for specific neighbors who have unique situations and needsOther duties as assigned or requested by the Executive Director
Education and/or Experience Requirements
- S./B.A. in Education, Human Services or related field preferred or similar combination of education and experience
- Proven success in planning and implementing new programming
- Knowledge of community resources, agencies, and businesses
