Job Overview
As the Director of Shared Services – Accounting at Crescent Electric, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, management and meeting KPI’s with focus on Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll functions. In this role, you will ensure an appropriate control environment and oversight of various cash flow results while driving operational efficiency across all responsible areas, strengthening process, the control environment and providing ongoing leadership and functional oversight.
PRIMARY DUTIES:

Leads and manages people, with key focus on employment development

Ensures the effectiveness of day-to-day operations within the accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll departments

Ability to identify and implement digital solutions throughout the organization.

Strong knowledge of Internal Controls
-
Provides effective financial stewardship and demonstrates value creation
-
Utilizes process mapping to identify and implement process improvement
-
Assist accounts payable leadership and the information technology (IT) department with the implementation of changes to accounts payable screens and/or payment procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
CPA
-
Previous experience in filing payroll, sales and use taxes.

Proven employee coach and mentor

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, to include Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Experience with Digital Transformation

Ability to work quickly and accurately under time constraints and against deadlines.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.

Ability to be a self-starter, with keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with employees and vendors.
