Advance Pump and Equipment, Inc. leads the industry with more than 30 years of custom design and manufacturing experience of vacuum tank trucks and trailers. We collaborate directly with each customer to gain an understanding of their needs and provide the highest quality product on the market. We are seeking experienced Welders to join our team in the fabrication of high-quality vacuum bodies. This is a full-time opportunity for skilled professionals who take pride in precision welding and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment. Experience in industrial welding or tank fabrication is a plus.

Job Title: Welder
Location: Peosta, Iowa
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $25 – $30 per hour (Based on experience and education)
Shift: 1st Shift | Start Time: 5:30 AM
Schedule: 40–45 hours per week | Paid Weekly

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in all phases of vacuum body welding construction
• Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metals
• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Set up welding equipment, adjust settings, and apply proper welding techniques
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues independently
• Collaborate with other team members to meet project goals
• Perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 75 lbs., kneeling, standing, and walking for extended periods
• Obtain certifications such as forklift and confined space, as required
• Pass a pre-employment physical and drug test

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of welding experience
• Experience in tank or industrial welding preferred
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• High attention to detail and quality
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Solid work history and professional references
