Job Description
Performs any and all duties involved with providing customer service for website, loyalty program, and telephone line. Maintains Theisens.com inventory and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Vocational training or
- Experience: 1-3 years related job experience such as retail, marketing, management or internet sales and customer service
Job Duties
- E-Commerce Sales Responsibilities:
- Is responsible for answering customer phone calls and emails from the web site and internet phone line. Will answer customer’s inquiries in a polite and friendly manner. If associate doesn’t know the answer to a question, they will use all assets available to find answers for the customer to foster a feeling of great customer service whenever possible.
- Is responsible for insuring internet orders are shipped out in a timely manner.
- Is responsible for reviewing internet orders for fraud
- Is responsible for taking care of internet returns.
- Web Site Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Responsible for removing discontinued items from web and working in AS400 to make sure stock flag info is current for internet items.
- Responsible for working with buyers and vendors to do uploads of products to web site for sale.
- Loyalty Program Responsibilities:
- Is responsible for signing up and servicing customer loyalty accounts.
- Is responsible for adding points for purchases

- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point, as well as knowledge of spreadsheets and database software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload with multiple priorities
- Strong verbal communication skills. Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple instructions, corporate correspondence and email.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, and volume
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals
- Ability to speak effectively before individuals or groups of associates
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Must have great problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Must exhibit a high level of integrity and business ethics
- Must have great people skills

Physical Demands
Frequent physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, dexterity, and light grasping. Occasional physical demands include lifting up to 25 lbs., bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, squatting, climbing stairs and firmly grasping. The employee is required to accept incoming calls and must be able to hear and speak. Specific vision abilities required by this job include vision adequate for the incumbent to perform the responsibilities and functions of the job efficiently. The associate must have the manual dexterity to manually operate and use a computer and other basic office equipment.
Work Environment and Working Conditions
This position will be performed inside a climate-controlled office facility. The noise level is low to medium and typical of an office environment. Potential hazards include electrical hazards. Atmospheric conditions are typical of an office environment and may include exposure to odors and dust.
