Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, motors, PLCs, and control panels 
• Diagnose electrical issues using schematics, meters, and diagnostic tools 
• Repair or replace faulty wiring, components, and equipment 
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) 
• Support production by minimizing downtime and responding quickly to equipment failures 
• Install and upgrade electrical systems and machinery 
• Follow OSHA safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures 
• Document maintenance work, repairs, and inspections 
• Collaborate with mechanical maintenance and production teams 

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical Technology or related field (or equivalent experience) 
• 2+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience (manufacturing preferred) 
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems (480V, 3-phase, controls) 
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting 
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints 
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 

• Experience in stamping, metal fabrication, or heavy manufacturing 
• Familiarity with robotics or automated systems 
• Welding or mechanical skills (a plus)
