Electrical Technician (2nd Shift)

Job Overview

Specialized Recruiting Group has partnered with a company in Dubuque, IA to search for an Electrical Technician to join their team.

Essential Duties:

• Conduit equipment installation.
• New electrical wiring and system installation.
• Wire process and control equipment from electrical blueprints.
• Support during equipment testing.
• Building maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and compliance with safety regulations.
• Calibrate switches, meters, and analyzers.
• Work towards continuous quality improvement.
• Stay current with changing technology and industry programs.
• Uphold company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED; technical school training preferred.
• Two or more years' experience as an Electrical Technician or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge in electronics, electrical wiring, instrumentation, and building maintenance.
• Strong electro-mechanical aptitude and ability to read engineering drawings and electrical blueprints.
• Experience as an electrician with a valid State Journeyman Electrician license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31-$35/hour
