Job Overview

Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a local production company in Dyersville, IA, to actively recruit a full time Electrical Technician to join their team. This is a 1st shift opportunity. Electrical Technicians assemble high quality refrigeration systems utilizing engineered drawings, customer specific documentation and installation of refrigeration components.

Details:

• Coordinate all aspects of electrical layout per design documentation and wiring schematics on assigned projects
• Make decisions on the mounting of major components for the electrical system including rack controllers, transformers, auxiliary panels, variable frequency drives, etc.
• Wire pressure switches, solenoid valves, compressors and other auxiliary devices
• Perform electrical inspections to ensure systems are built per design specifications
• Interact professionally with all departments, vendors and customers
• Maintain a positive work environment by consistently achieving goals and reinforcing the team approach
• Utilize various power and hand tools, MIG welding, metal grinding, forklift and/or crane operation, painting, and general material management

What you need:

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Previous manufacturing experience to include brazing and MIG welding preferred
• Experience with hand tools, reading documentation, and measuring tools is required
• Must have mechanical aptitude 
• Must be able to lift or move up to 45 pounds

Pay: $21-$23/hour
