Your Responsibilities

As the Electronic Medical Records Coordinator, your responsible for supporting the organization's use of the Emergency Medical Records system through a ticketing system, phone call, or email communications. You will train all new staff and maintain ongoing training and support for current EHR. You will also configure, implement, and maintain the EMR system and other health information related systems. Responsibilities will also include:

  • Maintaining EMR, having a timely response to requests and issues and engaging vendor support when needed
  • Participating in efficient work flow processes, including training, supporting, and making recommendations per the guidance of HIMS Manager, Operations Team, and Regulatory Guidelines
  • Maintaining timely responses to support tickets
  • Performing EHR administration duties
  • Training new and existing staff on Health Information Systems technology
  • Creating and maintaining training materials
  • Implementing EMR modules, creating forms, configuring systems to meet regulatory changes, operational requirements, new and existing project needs

What You Need

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2-5 years experience in EMR
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Project Management Skills
  • Excellent customer service, written, and verbal skills
