End of Line Inspector

Job Overview

Hours: 5:00am – 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday (overtime hours as needed)

Job Summary:

The End of Line Inspector is responsible for visually inspecting and documenting all product that is produced on STIHL lines prior to boxing/shipping. No product is to be boxed or sent to shipping without the verification of this person that the product is approved for shipment. The ideal candidate will have the ability to interpret assembly blueprints, operate various hand tools for assembly purposes, and be mindful of quality control parameters throughout.

Responsibilities:

• Operate various hand tools
• Maintain pace with machine output to ensure consistent workflow
• Inspect finished products to verify quality and quantity standards are met
• Report safety, quality, equipment, or production concerns promptly
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with 5S standards
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure quality product
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production and operational goals

Job Qualifications:

• Experience with the entire production process, including a complete understanding of the standards set for product inspection before shipping
• Attention to detail and close scrutiny of all product being inspected
• Able to interpret assembly blueprints
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic; capable of working independently while maintaining high product quality standards
• Dependable with consistent attendance and punctuality
• High School Diploma or GED Equivelent required
